Now that's a scary picture. Yes, the rumours are true. Whilst enjoying a much deserved break in December 2007 Dave got married. A lovely little chapel called 'The Chapel of the West' in Las Vegas. And after 18 years of waiting it only cost $187. Cheapskate. Capped a difficult off season for the veteran as he's lost his job, his health and now his independence.
Rumoured to be thinking of retiring in 2008 due to all the sledging he suffers (and will no doubt suffer). All of which comes from his own team. Enjoyed a better 2007 with the bat, culminating in a rare half century against Oakridge. Failing health means he may drop down to the 2nds with the other deadbeats (Andy Smith).
