Club Nets
With no nets on Easter Sunday there's a time change to the last scheduled net on Sunday 15th April - it is now to take place between 4.30 - 5.30pm. Outdoor nets for both junior and senior players will take place on Wednesday evenings from 25th April at 6.30pm.
Andy Smith has been confirmed as 1st XI captain and will appoint a vice-captain soon. Jay Richings will captain the 2nd XI and a vice-captain for this team will be sought.
Subs have been set at £15 for both seniors and juniors in 2012. All players must pay subs by the start of the season - failure to do so may result in that player not being considered for selection
At the recent AGM Roger Gegg was unanimously voted to become President of the Club - a warm welcome to Roger and good luck in his new role!
League News
The County League recently voted for a bowler to be limited to 20% of their teams overs - no help whatsoever to clubs like us who do well to put out two teams and will now have to find a minimum of 5 bowlers for the first team. The 1st XI continues in Division Four The 2nd XI will be in Division Three of the Cirencester League next season after thier relegation.
